nCycle Electric Bikes

If you've been shopping for electric bicycles, you've probably noticed that most are simply the same old bike designs you've always known, converted to electric power. This isn't the case with the nCycle. Your needs in a bike have changed since you were younger, and the nCycle designers have responded with new functionality.

nCycle Electric Bike

Bicycles are useful in recreational settings and for urban transportation, as well. Responding to the new needs in safety, storage and theft-prevention, the nCycle has a modern design and high-tech bike features.

The manufacturing of the nCycle has done away with cables, since the majority of the bike's system stems from the handle bar. This e-bike has dual handles for comfort and multiple positioning. In addition, the handle bar is formed in a loop shape, fitting most steel bike rack bars and poles in the city where you ride.

When you lock the nCycle, you close the loop with a hardened steel tube that slides from one handle. This creates a locking mechanism that is nearly impossible to cut or break with any tool. That makes it very difficult to steal.

nCycle has many other innovations that set it apart from the everyday e-bike. It has a dock for your smartphone and even an integrated holographic display. The folding mechanism makes this bike easy to carry and store.

Holy Holograph!

The electric motor is battery-powered, and alongside it, you'll find integrated headlights and Bluetooth speakers. The holographic display sits on top of the handle bars, showing you your smartphone screen while you're riding. This is especially handy when you're following directions or tracking speed or distance. The smartphone dock is safely hidden in the frame of the bike.

nCycle also offers a folding system that is intuitive, which means that storage is easier. The three step folding process is easy and doesn't require a lot of effort. The bike is the brainchild of Skyrill and Marin Myftiu, and will be offered in various models, to suit different budgets. Even people who have in the past not preferred electric bikes may find themselves won over by the nCycle.

The profile of the nCycle is slim and sleek and it is a long way from the foldable bikes you may have seen. Even folded, it is sturdy and compact. The hidden extras will appeal to avid e-bikers and tech-heads alike.

iPad-friendly ...

The built-in speakers, which connect via Bluetooth, will allow you to enjoy your tunes while you're riding. The way the headlights have been incorporated into the handlebars makes them virtually non-steal-able. The top tube has a retractable built-in pocket for your essentials, like lunch and your iPad, so there is no need for an unwieldy basket-type contraption.

When you want to connect your smartphone to the holographic display above the handlebars, you'll find that the display can be easily controlled by touch-sensitive sensors in the e-bike's rubber hand grips. While it's hoped that this won't become a distraction, it can be quite useful when properly employed. No one wants to see bikers texting.

The locking mechanism is the feature many people find even more amazing than the holographic display. The strong lock being integrated into the handle of the e-bike makes it the hardest bike to steal. You may also find it's the e-bike that's the most fun to ride.
